Regarding Lucie.

I'm usually not into talent shows or anything of that nature, but I must admit some of the early auditions this year for X-Factor grabbed my attention. What happened to Lucie Jones was an absolute travesty, she was great at what she did. I think Simon held it against her for some reason, she didn't seem to appeal to him, maybe because she wasn't his act, I'm not sure. But, she had a beautifully unique voice. I'm beginning to wonder if Mr. Simon has been into the pop star business to know real talent when it is right under his nose. Appreciate what someone is, appreciate them for being unique. Don't stare at a beautiful painting by Van Gogh and wish it could be by Picasso, appreciate what you're looking at, even if the styles are different. On the 3rd live show I would describe Lucie Jones' performance as heaven to the ears and the eyes, it was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen in my entire life, not just in TV, but in general.

The twins however? I mean, they have 0 talent. You would have to try hard to do worse than they do on a weekly basis, it's amusing to watch, but so is a car accident. It is just a shame when then better performer, by a landslide, doesn't move on because of a popularity contest. Simon should have taken it upon himself to make sure the best act made it through, he didn't do that. Simon lost some credibility in my eyes. It is almost like he doesn't take his responsibility to make sure the best talent moves on, serious enough. Because, I'm sure a few people are just going to stop watching the show now, period.

Simon copped out, he has said its a singing competition which jedward obviously can't do, they either talk or rapped and even that they do badly, he has made himself look stupid and has assumed that the viewers are also stupid and will not notice what he is doing, judging by ratings not by talent. Thank god "I'm a Celebrity" is coming back, I will be watching that instead. Good luck to all the talented singers still left especially Ollie.

What used to be enjoyable tv has now turned into a farce.
Simon you have done youself a lot of harm listen to what Danni is
saying its a SINGING COMPETITION. Turning 50 has addled your brain.
Lucie will have the last laugh.

Ok ,I`ve always had the utmost respect for Simon ,but that had to be THE worst case of tactical voting i`ve ever seen!!
After slating (and quite rightly ,this IS after all ,a singing competition!) ,the twins week after week ,when he has the oportunity to vote them off ,he cops out!COME ON!!WE KNOW he`s kept them safe ,(hence letting the public decide~~~gese ,aren`t these under 10`s in bed by 9pm??) ,he knew he had at least another week ,keeping HIS acts safe ,by voting off the Obviously talenmted LUcie!DISGRACEFUL behaviour by a judge....i thought you were better than that Simon....Obviously not!Time to turn channels!

Simon was the most respected judge on X Factor - not any more! He should change his name to Simon Coward.

I've never rated Louis, but his comments about other acts not being versatile are laughable. Jedward have been subjecting us to the same old rubbish week in week out. Can't dance, can't sing - oh, but they can skip.

Of course, no-one realised that songs from films were meant to be from films that Louis had heard of!

What was once an enjoyable TV programme, based on a search for real talent, is now a complete joke. If the judges can't make an informed decision when it comes down to the performance for survival (which Simon clearly failed to do - twice), then they might just as well dispense with this part of the show and leave it to the public. Failing that, bring in an independent adjudicator. He has misled the public into believing he thought the twins should go because they cannot sing. He now seeks to blame the public Lucie going on the basis it was their fault she was in the bottom two. What a cop out. The final decision was not made on the public vote, but on the performance for survival. He said he would base his decision on that - he did not. He had the opportunity to do the right thing - he didn't. It was solely down to him that Jedward stayed in at the expense of someone who has talent and can sing. Lucie - you have a lot of fans out there - keep following your dream. Hopefully you will get signed up by someone who puts talent before £ signs and not Simon Coward - his loss.

I am truely gutted that Simon went to public vote when he had the chance to eradicate the gruesome twosome once and for all... we all know he hates them, so what the hell is he playing at? I am sooooooo not going to watch the X factor ever again, when true talent is dismissed for the likes of untalented toss potts, ie... jedward.............
