I think from this competition first who must go out are John&Edward. For sure they are not representative for UK. I love Joe’s representation from this fifth show. Also the others were very good, comparing with this two guys(John&Edward).

The show is fixed, ratings have gone up because people are tuning in to watch the twins make a fool of themselve, watchin to see if they get put out, Simon knows this. From the beginning he has said how they twins cant sing, how their performances are just ridiculous, and then he doesnt even choose to send them home? This just proves it’s fixed. He knows what he’s doing.

I am speechless. What the hell was Simon thinking? How can he sleep at night when he is too guttless to make a real decision. Lucie can actually sing, I thought this was a contest based on singing talent, not a comedy. This time it is very obvious that Simon made a mistake deciding and making it clear to everyone he would not vote for talent but for business. The talent is Lucy, the business might come from the twins as it attracts some kind of audience; or may be now public could be gutted and audience could disappear.
I can’t believe tonights results. Lucie clearly has the better voice, she was sooo much better than John and Edward. What is the point of having a judges panel if they are going to put it to the public vote every week. I have lost all faith in the show and will be switching to another channel from now on. I am very disappointed with Simon he clearly didn’t vote on talent and star quality tonight. I would like to congratulate Cheryl she made the right decision tonight voting those two muppets off. I am commenting on behalf of all of those people like myself who have supported the X factor over the years but I have lost all faith in the show after tonights eviction. Cant believe what I just saw. As we saw last week, a great singer has lost the opportunity to realise their dream because Simon isnt man enough to send home the worst performer. Lucie and Rachel will both have great careers in the industry as long as Simon doesnt handle their careers. As for the twins, well what can be said that hasnt already been said, two “boys” who are annoying talentless and complete pains but, thanks to Simon and Louis, are still in the ” competition “. The whole show is not about finding the next great singing sensation, its about Simon making more money for himself and Louis acting like a panto side kick .
I Think that the public are rightly losing interest in the show and I doubt that many people will tune in next year either.

It has proved all he is bothered about is keeping his show in the news and the idea of a talent show has no been diminished by his self centered craving for headlines. It does not matter who went out but i did think Lucy was great, its the fact he kept the two lads in who he doesnt like. Simon is, frankly, a wanker….. he hasnt got the balls he was born with, and has got so greedy, he has stopped entertaining people and just started manipulating the shows. I predict that next year will be the last series, flooded by hopeless dickheads like the paddy chuckle brothers, and the seriously talented people like Lucie will stay away for fear of ridicule.

Many times I have thought that Simon hit the nail on the head about somebody and when he gave a negative comment, on many occasions it was absolutely fair. Tonight he threw away any respect I ever had for him or his judgement. Nobody with any degree of musical appreciation could even have considered Jedward for a millisecond over what was probably one of the top singers in this competition. His money grabbing stunt will surely backfire on him. Now people realise that this competition no longer has anything to do with finding a talented singer and is simply a vehicle for lining Simon’s pocket and ego, hopefully the number of people watching and phoning in will collapse. Why has the same judge the final say each time. The whole thing is a farce because it’s about the judges putting themselves and whether they win above their real belief in the performers overall talent.

Wow, What a blow. I really was very interested in following the progression of this years competition; however, with the voting off of the only performer who has never song a note off key and has shown more range then most “professional” singers, I am not really interested in who gets the final prize. I only hope Lucy will get the attention of some “real” critics who can advance a career she so richy deserves.

If I wanted to watch four children in a playground trying to win a competition I would tune in! This competition has absoluetely nothing to do with the performers or talent but the ego trips of the various judges who tactically vote. They go on about the public treating acts unfairly but don’t throw stones if you live in glass houses – all are willing to undermine each others acts so they can be the winning mentor.

You all know Simon is just a classic example of money-making megaproducer, who only cares about the ones who will pay off at the end of the day. We face that kind of people every day, so it doesn’t suprise me at all that Lucie got voted off (although it is really a shame). She was a threat to his contestants, so he used an opportunity given to him, to get rid of her. The interesting thing here is that this really isn’t a talent show, not in a classic way anyway. This is a show adapted to the needs of the market, and the ones who are shocking in way (as are JandE with their lack of voice skills and their presentation) go on. It’s a shame that talented people don’t get that, and they put themselves through stress and anxiety of this show, just to witness that this is all a glittery hoax. The people who don’t win have a greater chance of success anyway, as it was over the last years in this kind of shows.

Simon Cowell knew exactly what he was doing when he let the final sing-off go to Deadlock. He has all his three artists left (two of whom arguably should have gone before Lucie!) and he simply got rid of the strongest opposition to his acts. I, like many others, thought X-Factor was a talent show but saddly it has become a freak show. Who knows, they probably decide who is going to win once the final 12 have been picked. What were John and Edward even doing in the final 100!! It won’t make any difference but I and my family certainly won’t be watching any more, I’d rather watch paint dry! I normally have immense respect for Mr Cowell’s judgemen, however, I believe that he made a significant mistake on Saturday in allowing Lucie to be sent home in favour of John and Edward.
It is fair to say the the public vote is all important and therefore as Lucie did not attract as many votes as the boys she had to go. Having said that this is a show about true talent and clearly Lucie has this and, whilst entertaining at times, the boys do not. In view of this Mr Cowell ought to have exercised his good judgement and allowed her to stay.
She may not have gone on to win but I sense that the public would have respected such an action. As it is I believe that Mr Cowell has done, what is an excellent show, a great disservice
I am very disappointed with Simon decision. He should have got rid of the Twins when he had the opportunity. The audience should start booing Simon rather than the twins. They’ve done nothing wrong it was Louie that put them in that position. They just tried their luck and for some unfathomable reason he put them through.
I was very disappointed in Simon as well. In choosing not to support Lucie’s talent and obvious efforts to “be relevant”, he in fact supported the group he’s hated from the beginning. His only possible motivation is to weaken the competition for his own singers, which frankly, weakens the entire show. Personally, I watch the show for the singing and never stay to listen to J and E as its too painful. I’m very sad for Lucie because she didn’t deserve to leave in this way. Very poorly done, Simon.
Why can’t the producers change the voting system so that you ring in for the act you want off. (Its not fair that you have to vote for all the ones you want to keep in.) I suppose they wouldnt get as much money then, I thought it was a talent show, it shouldnt be about the telephone revenu.

You have two people too blame with Lucie’s loss. Simon & the talent less Danni. When Danni made her dreadful childish uncalled for comment about Danyl’s “PRIVATE” life instead of his musical talents, she has almost destroyed him. Whne Simon told Olly Murs he knows what it is like to work with two “witches” Simon kept his comment clean but everyone knew what he meant! Doing what Simon did was payback to Danni for her destruction of Danyl. Simon “witch” slapped Danni by having one of her best acts destroyed in an indirect way!
I came to read the comments to see if I was the only one in the world who used to really respect Simon Cowell and who is now really confused by his cruelty and contradictions. It was sadly comforting to see that I am not the only one. “Farce” is exactly what the show feels like now. I have been watching eagerly since day one and have now lost all wish to follow. I can´t believe Simon let Lucie be voted out, especially over J and E…. she was great!

Simon you lost all credits. You see the most things right, but if your ego tells you, that you have to win the competition, you lose your clearness. In my opinion you stole from us a beutiful battle in the end.

i cant believe it. Lucie can go out. She has angel voice, i love her vocal, J and E cant sing, they like clowns, im so disappointed about xfator, this show’ll find a talent for muusic industry, so it….i used to liked x factor so much beacause it find talents as leona lewis or alexandre bruke.. but now it’s a stupid show. i think it has some problem about vote system, or viewer may vote for look not for voice.

As a lot of the public said last week I have stopped watching this trash TV programme. Even the wife who was an avid fan has decided to wash her hair and do some cleaning around the house – there was a plus side to Simon’s joke of a decision after all. I hope Simon feels it in his pockets this week and everyone has swapped their viewing to some other channel.
