Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell started out in the postroom at EMI Music Publishing, but after launching his own label at the age of 23, he joined BMG in 1989 and began a professional relationship so far spanning more than 20 years.
During his time at BMG, Simon has sold over 150 million records and has had over 70 No. 1 records in America and the UK. His artists include Westlife – whose first seven singles all went to UK No. 1, opera quartet Il Divo, whose first two albums have collectively sold 20 million copies worldwide and Leona Lewis whose album ‘Spirit’ became biggest selling debut album of all time in 2007. His music label SyCo Music has also sold over 50 million American Idol themed albums including those of Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken and Carrie Underwood.
Simon Cowell’s trademark candor and eye for talent on “American Idol” has made him a household name both in the United States and in the UK on “The X Factor” and “Britain’s Got Talent”.
Cowell was recently ranked 3rd on the Forbes “TV Faces” list and 21st on the 2007 Forbes “Celebrity 100 Power List.” In 2006, Cowell was named “UK Personality of the Year” by Variety, and in 2004 was named one of the Top Entertainers of the Year by Entertainment Weekly.

He has been a good judge the past few years. Bu this years finalists are all wrong! Trecy Cohen!!! Where is she?
please please Simon take control of the show get rid of john &edward they are making the show a big joke they cant sing and look like they have come from outer space bring back the old Simon boot them off
ITS MI SONG AND MELODIA,,,
hey simon your amazing. seriously Jedward have to go every one in Ireland are saying there making the show a complete joke.
why speaking so much about the terrible twins everywhere?
don’t give them the importance &
then the public voice/interesse will start to go down.
I think Simon is a big hypocrite for chosing to go to deadlock when Racheal sang better than Lloyd, he is not even fit to be a ‘judge’
simon you just scared lucy is a threat to your lads. i thought this is a singing comp.i will not watch xfactor again, till those two are out. what a JOKE
Simon you are a big hypocrite……you chuck your toys out when danyl is in the bottom two, you say you will leave the country if the twins win, then promise to judge the sing off on that performance, and do the opposite. Now we KNOW you are only in it for the headlines, ego, and contoversy. We wont be watching the rest of the series now,its a joke and we have zero respect for your integrity.
Simon has lost the plot.I know he says that he can’t control who is in the bottom 2,but this is a singing contest & based on what we all heard tonight Lucy should have strolled home. His acts are now on very shaky ground!!!!!
Sorry but that is it X factor is off my watch list and I am frankly not bothered who wins now.
Simon, your ignorance is already costing you your reputation and our believe in this show. The public is already voting for you to fail and you are blindly buying it. They will keep voting for the twins because you deserve to fail. You can try to win the public over by bringing Lucy back. I hope it will help you.
The X Factor seems to be a game to Simon. He thinks the main purpose is set up for him to compete with the other judges. He is using 18 year old very talented kids as punching bags to try and get at the other judges. Well it isn’t a game to these kids and Simon should grow up and act like a man. He is acting like all the bad points he has taken such pleasure in assigning to the twins. Their problem is maturity. Simon’s problem is he isn’t man enough to face people on an equal basis.
shows a joke and simon will regret it as lucie is the only person who will have a career after this the rest will have 1 song and never be seen again GL lucie
Simon, simon… remember this is a singing contest and not your other show which looks for entertainment & fun in the acts. You might well think you have the control of the show as producer and employer to the rest… however, us the voting public decide how sucessful the show continues. Remember how you got to be respected… for your honesty and integrity, so use it!
